Eye Stye
While looking and feeling one’s best is a top priority for women of all ages, it can be quite challenging to do so. Over-extending oneself on the job, in class, or at never-ending social engagements can really take a toll on your appearance. Fortunately, the beauty tips and tricks in this article will offer a wealth of insight that will allow for a more beautiful and balanced life.
If you suffer from dry skin on your face, you may want to consider going to see a beautician and getting an intensive moisturizing treatment. This is a treatment formulated specifically for dry skin on the face and refreshes and smooths the skin’s appearance by getting rid of dead skin cells. Vitamins, minerals and herbal extracts help to restore your skin’s moisture level and increase your skin’s elasticity.
Pick a foundation that is dermatologist approved and matches your natural skin tone well. Some foundations can clog your pores quite easily if you have sensitive skin, so find one that is oil-free as well. This will help keep your pores clear and help make your face look great and oil-free all day.
If you ever run out of concealer you can turn to your foundation! Simply turn the cap of the foundation over and you will find a thicker, more condensed collection of it which you can use in a pinch in place of your regular concealer. Simply dab your finger tip in the cap and pat the foundation under eyes or over any other blemish!
Use a primer for your makeup. You can buy a primer specifically for makeup application. There are many people that even claim to use diaper rash cream or monistat cream as a primer for their makeup! Some people claim these methods are better than any primer you can buy in the store.
If you don’t like the look of your hair curled with a curling iron, try curling it with a straightener. Simply wrap your hair around the straightener and pull it through to the ends. This produces a much more natural looking curl, although it can take a little longer to do.
Wearing heavy foundation or powdery makeup is not a good look for faces over 40. It accentuates the drier character of the skin. If your face is 40 or older it’s better to use a lighter touch. If your skin is fairly even-colored you may be able to skip foundation entirely. Foundations should be very light in weight.
It is important that you never use a dull razor when shaving your legs or any other part of your body. Dull razors are just going to cut your skin and leave an abundance of razor burns. Try to use a new razor each time that you shave and get razors that have triple blades.
You should not have to choose between the way you look and the way you feel, which is why the advice in this article is more useful than ever. Remember these tips anytime that you need to give yourself an extra boost of encouragement and an added sparkle in your eye.Other good recommendations most people should certainly look into ,

Hi AJ
Here are some ideas to heal the issue.
Cause
Usually caused by Staphylococci bacteria and more common in children.

Natural Cures
Diet: Eat an organic, whole foods diet that is high in garlic. Avoid all refined sugars, alcohol, and milk and dairy products, as well as any foods to which you may be allergic or sensitive.
Herbs: Use an eye wash made from a fresh and well-filtered infusion of eyebright and goldenseal. Also drink red raspberry tea.
Homeopathy: Useful homeopathic remedies include Pulsatilla, Hepar sulph., Sulfur, and Graphites.
Nutritional Supplementation: Take mycelized vitamin A in therapeautic doses 100,000 IU for the first two days, and then reduce to 50,000 IU the next two days, and then a preventive dose, 5,000 IU for the next week. Also include beta carotene and vitamin C as of your daily nutritional supplement program.
Topical Treatment: Bathe your eye in a solution of chamomile or red raspberry tea.
Alternative Professional Care
If your symptoms persist despite the above measures, seek the help of a qualified health professional. The following professional care therapies have all been shown to be useful for treating sties: Applied Kinesiology, Detoxification Therapy, Light Therapy, Naturopathic Medicine, Reflexology, and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Best of health to you
Apply a warm compress for 5 minutes four times a day. It will be gone in a day or two.
Application of a warm compress or warm washcloth to the affected area for 10 minutes, four to six times a day, can speed rupture of the sty and aid in the relief of symptoms. A sty should not be pressed or squeezed. If a sty persists for several days, a doctor can lance (drain) the infection under local anesthesia in his or her office. I can tell you from experience that lancing the sty gives almost instant relief.
Good luck.
Rub gold on it.
It works.
But it has to be real gold. Borrow someones wedding ring.
Dont rub hard, just run the gold all over it and tomorrow it will be gone. (and it feels soothing too)
It sounds like a stye or chalazion which is an infection of an oil gland in the eyelid. Use warm compresses 4x daily for about 15 mins. (usually as hot as you can stand it, but not too hot that it will burn you). If it does not get better over the next two days then see your ophthalmologist. They might put you on some medication or remove it.
It could be a blocked duct that has filled up, called a chalazion. The best way to see if you can make it go away by itself is hot packing it. Use a washcloth or cotton balls with hot water (but not hot enough to burn your eyelid skin which is a bit more tender and sensitive than say your arm). Do this 2-3 x a day for 10 minutes at a time. If it go away, you may have to have it removed by incision and drainage.
Diplopia or double vision is not due to either of these. Go for a thorough medical check up.
